This little machine does the job, quick and efficient with a vengeance! I’m not a muscular person, but I can handle this cultivator with ease. The battery last long enough to get a big job done! I have a garden that is 20’ X 40’ and it chews through all the weeds on one full charge! Love my purchase and will definitely buy more Green Works products.

Great tiller for your garden

Bought the tiller 2 years ago and still works great to till around plants after garden Once garden it is so easy to plug in battery and let your wife till around the plants light weight so instead of dragging the gas tiller and try to maneuver around the plants and in between the cages she can do it better if you put grass clipping close to plant stems to keep the moisture in The only hard part is to remove the battery after pushing down I release you have to pry out battery Would highly recommend a stronger spring to release battery

A piece of junk!

I'd like to meet the people who wrote the positive reviews for this piece of gear, because positive isn't the description I'd use for my opinion of it. The second the tines touched the ground, the machine stopped running. Had absolutely no power and no ability to do any tilling or cultivating at all. I knew it wouldn't have the power that my 35-year-old gas-powered tiller had (it finally gave up the ghost), but I thought it would at least cut through the soft earth in our yard. Wrong! We have other 40-volt GMax Greenworks equipment and have been very happy with that, but this, even with fully charged batteries (we tried all three that we have) just is unable to do anything at all. I was suspicious the second I unwrapped the tines and got a look at how insubstantial they are. Lesson learned. Heading to our local equipment dealer this afternoon to buy a replacement gasoline-powered tiller.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
