I use this in already tilled garden Works really good for cultivating and getting weeds out don’t know how good it would work if the ground hasn’t been broke yet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleasantly surprised by the power of this unit. I was expecting to be disappointed but this unit was powerful, lightweight, easy to control. I did a plot of 50x30 with 2 4ah batteries. It dug through fairly hard ground and tore up all the light vegetation (weeds). Used it to mulch yard debris into the soil. Worked great. One issue is that it needs a neutral I had a piece of a stump and a large rock get wedged between the blades and the guard, it was difficult to dislodge but was most impressed by the torque it took to get the stuck in the first place

Nice Small Cultivator that is lightweight and easy to use so far

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just got this last week and have already begun using it to till ground (10" path) to lay down concrete landscape block to separate lawn from landscape beds.
The only thing I think could be better at this point is to have tines that would till the middle of the 10" width where the drive shaft meets the tine shaft.
Regarding quality, use and time will tell on durability

Excellent tiller

Nice tool, broken piece

This was a gift for my girlfriend and, while satisfied overall, it was very disappointing to open the box to find a broken piece. Not a major piece affecting functionality, but the plastic clip to hold the wire along the handle. She asked for a Mantis and I convinced her to try this because I have 3 other Greenworks tools. So, I will probably hear about this for a long time. A very long time.

Breaking bricks!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Arrived last week; our area is in extended drought and last year's exterior remodeling did a number on the grass/sod. Needed to break up the ground and re-sow grass seed to reestablish grass. Very happy with this little machine ability to crack the 'brick' of the surface and slowly break the ground into a growing surface again. Tilled it 3x's to break soil into a growing medium, it mightily held it's own against the fight of the packed dirt. Still tilling the area and will return to provide update- but at this point, very happy with the battery run tiller to hold up and handle the job!
Pros: Cost-Saver, Easy to Use, Quiet, Durable, Powerful
