I bought my first Brydge Keyboard, in 2018 for my 1st Generation IPadPro. Although it is 5 years old, it still looks brand new, unlike the Magic Keyboard, which costs almost twice as much and looks the worse for wear after only a year, I loved everything about my Silver 4011 model, (except, perhaps, for the rubber hinge covers which kept threatening to come apart under the strain. Brydge Customer Support generously supplied me with new ones for free. enabling me to remain inseparable from my keyboard combo. That is until a week ago when I made the unfortunate mistake of trying to create eye contact with my clients during Zoom calls by placing my IPad Pro on a 12" high stand. Sadly, the IPad did not survive the shock of separation from it's stable keyboard partner. The Ipad toppled from the unstable stand to the floor and cracked its screen. Since replacing the screen would have cost me $700, I took advantage of Best Buy's Open Box Price on a 4th Generation 11" IPadPro and spent the $200 I saved on a spiffy new Brydge Max keyboard with a trackpad. I had been waiting for Apple to produce a model with the lens located in the centre of landscape mode so I can appear to be making eye contact with my clients rather than avoiding them by looking off to one side. Until that day, I will rely on a solid stack of enormous 3" thick Dictionaries to raise the camera to eye height while protecting my beloved dynamic duo. Maybe Brydge can invent a solution to this problem that doesn't involve laying the IPad on the glass bed of a Teleprompter which houses an expensive Digital Camera supported by a tripod, alongside a separate monitor, keyboard and microphone! A $2500 investment!
I would recommend this to a friend!
