Exactly what we needed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hamilton Beach FlexBrew Universal Coffee Maker is exactly what my household needed. We NEVER make pots of coffee so having a duo with a pot is useless to us however we do brew single cups of coffee and have a separate machine to make espresso. Well thanks to Hamilton Beach, I no longer need two separate machines and have extra, much needed counter space. I absolutely love how I can use either a k-cup or the brew basket to make my coffee; I much prefer the brew basket because adding coffee grounds is much more affordable. The water reservoir is large, easy to remove and easy to clean. There is extra storage for the brew basket and the espresso stand height is adjustable. Both the coffee and espresso side make the perfect, hot cup of coffee/espresso. My favorite way to drink coffee is adding a shot of espresso to it for that added morning energy boost and sometimes I just want a couple of espresso shots over ice with milk for the perfect iced latte...this machine helps me achieve all of the coffee concoctions I desire. My only issue is the lever for the espresso side; it is a little difficult to open and hard to close and every time I use it, I think I am going to break it. I think Hamilton Beach can work on making the lever mechanism a little smoother and easier to open/close but this issue does not affect the taste/temperature of the espresso. I highly recommend!

Amazing coffee maker that does it all!

I always wanted to have an espresso maker but they are so expensive and take up too much room on your counter. But now I have a machine that does it all and fits so nicely without taking up much space! The FlexBrew makes delicious espressos. It's also easy to warm some milk and make lattes. Coffee can be made with either k-cups or fresh grounds. Both options are easy to brew and simple to clean.

Say Goodbye to Multiple Machines to Make Coffee…

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family of 4 (three adults and an older teen) are in love with the functionality this machine has brought to our morning coffee routine. We each have varying tastes when it comes to type and strength of coffee. This machine has allowed us to meet these individual preferences without taking up our entire counter with appliances. A shot of espresso over ice for one daughter—no problem! A travel mug brewed extra boldly for me—no problem. A coffee WITH a shot for another daughter—no problem! My husband would just like a “regular cup of coffee please”—still, no problem! I have really enjoyed experimenting with different types of espresso pods and prepackaged cup coffees. This machine is quick to heat up the water so there’s very little waiting time involved and the reservoir holds a lot of water so we don’t have to refill very often at all. The espresso pods drop down into a handy bin we can easily empty when it’s full (I believe maybe 8-10 fit in there. I’m not sure because we empty it pretty regularly). I’ve noticed only two relatively small issues I should mention. First, the cover on the reservoir vibrates as the machine is making the coffee. It’s pretty loud, especially first thing in the morning! We have added a small piece of felt in two of the corners that dampen the vibration a lot. The lid is hard plastic and when it vibrate against the hard plastic of the reservoir, it can be loud. Secondly, the espresso pod release system is a little confusing. Sometimes I go to put a new pod in and there’s still the old one there. Perhaps I need to go back and double check the directions but it’s a little difficult to lift the handle and then it “pops” up very hard. I love how there are a variety of mug sizes this machine can handle. Small demitasse cups for the shot of espresso all the way up to a 16 Oz travel mug is accommodated. Overall, this machine is a true asset to my kitchen. We all enjoy coffee very much and non of us have been disappointed by a single cup this machine has made! It looks beautiful on my counter and is truly easy to use overall.

I like to use the single brew pods and I’m so glad I can make my favorite brands and flavors. Love how easy to clean the machine is ! Honestly that’s the best coffee making machine I ever had! Highly recommend it for coffee lovers!

Just Fabulous! Taste, Features, Design

First of all having all 3 brewing options in one machine is just a life saver it saves so much counter space.
Secondly the quality and design are superb, the beautiful design blends right into my kitchen especially the stainless steel parts make it feel so clean, it is surprisingly sleek for a machine of its kind as well.
Lastly and the brew is delicious! Unlike many similar products the FlexBrew brews at high temperature and having freshly brewed K-Cups or Nespresso that is actually hot is just fabulous.
