TV works, but the Remote is bad

I just got this TV. The picture quality when view from the side is not very good. The remote is terrible and Westinghouse does not offer a better remote
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Perfect for my home office needs

I've only had this for a week, which isn't enough time for an in-depth review, but my first impressions are favorable. The tv was easy to unbox and set up. Please note, I live in a cold climate, so I unboxed and let it set for about 5 hours before plugging it in. Aside from screwing the feet on the tv and batteries in the remote, that was all that was needed for hardware setup. After turning it on, I just followed the tv's prompts for the rest of the setup with no issues.
I only use streaming services, so the next step was logging in to the applicable accounts, which went smoothly.
This tv is set up in my home office and looks great. I'd rather have the stand be a simple, in-the-middle base stand, but the feet work well enough (this is just a personal preference). Picture quality and sound are good for my needs and for the lower price point.
I've never had a Westinghouse flat screen TV before, but I had other Westinghouse products when I was younger, so I decided to give it a try. Time will tell regarding the durability, but the quality so far seems sufficient.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy for a Boomer Who Grew Up With Westinghouse

Chose an old school brand I recognized and it was a great choice. Clear picture, easy to set up and affordable.
