Easy set up; minor picture distortion

I purchased this TV three days ago. It was quite easy to set up, and it’s not hard to navigate between different platforms. There has been the issue that every time I’ve watched it so far there has been an episode of the picture distorting for a couple of seconds. I am going to have to find out if that means this particular unit is defective.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
