Normal ROKU features, lacks in south and backlight

Purchased this TV based on price (perfect!) and reviews (4.5 avg). However, two things stand out: (1) The sound quality is terrible. After trying every sound setting, it just sounds hollow - not quite AM radio, but certainly no fullness or bass. Will need to purchase an external speaker for it. (2) The backlight is weird. I have it set to dark, however, when the image is darker, the backlight is correct, but as soon as a bright color (white, yellow, etc) comes on the screen, the backlight gets way brighter. It's odd and kind of a distraction. So, I just bumped up the brightness feature to the next level, and hasn't been a problem since.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great value

Easy to setup, very light weight. Took a while to figure out how to mount with the VESA pattern but that was due to my TV mount.
I would recommend this to a friend!
