Oven is not closed all the way. Super dangerous

Very disappointing. This is a second oven and replaced oven door but the problem still there. It is not closed all the way, I can see the huge gap between the oven and the door which is uneven with another side. The light sometimes will not be even shut off, as the door will not be tight enough. With high oven temperatures, this is very dangerous. Looks like this is a design or assembly issue. GE has offered to bring the third one not sure if that will help. Not sure what to do. The knobs will heat up if you cook something for a long time on high. This is purely a design issue. Other than that and the fact that you can't use the oven it looks great.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

great broiler

the various size burners are nice the 5th burner with griddle is great addition. convection works great didn't expect much from the air fryer so wasn't disappointed with that. the 3 oven racks are an upgrade from 2. I guess ranges no longer come with broiler pans. would be nice if controls came with a way to lock them so that while wiping the range all the controls wouldn't get all messed up

Air Fryer does not work

We we purchased this oven and used it in August of this year 2021, the air fryer worked on 2 separate occasions. The 3rd time we tried and the oven went on the air fryer did not. We tried this several times before calling GE Repair service. The service technician was able to engage the air fryer indicating nothing was wrong . He said to press bake then air fryer which is not what the instructions say. After he left the air fryer worked once and then, did not work. Now having to call for service again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Wish the stainless steel edges were not scrimped in places. GE quality is not what it once was. My brother who designed appliances for GE for 34 years would be embarrassed!!!
