So easy to use

This is the first gas range I have ever owned and I will own one from now on!! I am loving all the wonderful features of this gas range. Cooking with gas is soooo much better! Ours was converted (quite easily by the licensed plumber) to use propane instead of natural gas as we live outside the city limits. No complaints, loving the middle griddle/grate and really all features and aspects of this gas range.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The range is Fabulous, but I don’t like how the timer works, it doesn’t tic down like a regular timer it’s too slow!!!

Very happy after first month

Stovetop works and CLEANS beautifully--very impressive. I do wish that both the front burners were not large and both the back ones small, as sometimes it is nice to simmer a small pot on the front. The oven heats up very quickly and the convection option works well to bake cakes evenly all the way through. I have used air bake and broil once each and also been pleased with the results and how quickly it cooks. I love the design of this stove, having the controls in the front. Sabbath mode was a bit tricky to figure out as it is different than other models I have used, but once understood it worked well and I see the benefits of it being engineered as it is. The stainless steel does need to be cleaned often to keep its polished look. I did not realize that the middle griddle is the only option that comes standard, and that if you want a middle grate to put a pot over the middle burner, you have to purchase that separately, so beware. Overall, very happy with this purchase!

I had an electric stove that came with the house, but hated it. I prefer cooking on gas. I haven't tried all the features yet, but I like what I have tried. Only have 2 comments that may help others: 1) this stove's cooktop surface is about 2 inches higher than my countertops. Minor detail, but if you are as short as I am, those 2 inches require some adjustments. 2) the burners on top are arranged with both of the larger burners in front and both of the smaller burners in the back. If you live alone and only cook for one, most of the time you use small pots and pans, so the larger burners are too large. Combine that with having to reach to the back of a taller stove, and it could be a problem for some people. But I love this stove, and part of the fun of getting a new appliance that is a significant upgrade is learning the best way to use it - what works for you. I'm having fun learning.

Exactly What I Wanted

I waited nearly 6 weeks after ordering this range due to the pandemic backlog. It has all the features I wanted and none of those that I didn’t.
I purchased, separately, the center grate to replace the griddle. I’d recommend that GE either include the grate or offer it as an option to the griddle at no extra charge.
