Very happy with this stove

Redesigned my kitchen and needed a slide in stove. This has very good temperature control of the burners and the convection oven is amazing! Chose it because it had excellent reviews online and consumer reports, and I would say it's definitely living up to those.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Design problems

The range works adequately. I have a big problem with the design. Because the controls are on the top of the stove, they are constantly getting dirty from cooking grease, oils, etc. That wouldn't be so bad if the area was easy to clean, but it is very difficult. The first day I used the range, I tried to clean the control panel with approved stainless steel cleaner. I could not get the panel clean. There is something wrong with the finish,that makes it impossisble to clean properly. I am very dissatisfied.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Chef at Work

We absolutely love our new stove. My Husband is the main chef in the house and he cannot say enough about the well built GE stove. The griddle option is a must have. I even purchased the optional grate to convert it from a griddle. Sunday Dinners are delivered on time and piping hot.

Beautiful, Great Features, Cooks Perfectly

Not only do I love the look of this stove; it is so easy to use! Griddle works great for mornings with pancakes. I can cook an omelette in 20 seconds. The controls are so smooth and user friendly. Lighting the burner is barely a task compared to my old GE stove. I made my usual homemade cookies in the oven and they were the best batch I ever tasted! I have yet to use the air fry option, but love that it's there. My only issue is that the stainless steel below the grates is hard to keep smudgeless. My previous GE stove was black under the grates and was somehow much easier to keep looking clean. The digital controls are fantastic!

Quiet and efficient

This replaced a top-of the line GE Profile range that lasted 20 years. The convection oven works well and is much quieter than my old one. The burners are more powerful and the griddle and AirFry are new features.
GE provides almost no information about how or when to use the AirFry feature, and I've never seen or tasted AirFried food, so last night I did an hour of research online and found a lot of useful information on Frigidaire's website. I ordered a pan and I'm eager to try it now.
The main reason I bought a slide-in model this time was because the available free-standing models were so unattractive. But I miss the more visible clock and I find no advantage that justifies the slide-in's higher price other than appearance.
