Uneven oven cooking. Gets extremely hot on the counter next to it. Center griddle was cheap non-stick, had to order a cast iron n one separately.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We want to help with your GE Appliances gas range. If you're experiencing uneven cooking results, please ensure all cookware must has flat bottoms and are the correct size. Pans with rounded, curved, ridged or warped bottoms are not recommended. Check pans for flat bottoms by using a straight edge. You should not be able to pass a US nickel coin under the straight edge.
While cooking on the cooktop, if the pot or pan gets hotter in one section than another, verify the base of the pan is not warped or uneven. Also, make sure the pan has been placed over the center of the burner. If you continue to experience issues with your range, we recommend that you contact our warranty department for further assistance at 1-800-432-2737.
