dont waste money

One of the valves failed within two years and is now inoperable. I'm very disappointed, especially since replacement burner valves aren't readily available locally.

Cooks well , easy clean & Efficient use of space

I like this gas range/oven combo for its efficient use of space for a smaller kitchen. Heats well and cooks well. I previously had a stovetop only with a removable griddle which rested on top of the grid on the left which I really liked. This griddle is a bit small to maneuver food without spilling off the sides. It’s OK for small amounts of food but not any volume. I find cleanup with this range super easy. The plus on the smaller coated aluminum griddle is light weight and easy to wash, the larger cast iron on my stove top was very heavy and difficult to handle. Wish the bottom storage drawer felt more stable when pulled out. It’s not a big deal and I used it regularly but drawer slides could be improved . Would I buy again? Yes but would go to a 36” if available.

Design issue

Stove looks great but I do have an issue with the design.
I replaced old ge stove with slide in and the back of the stove doesn’t allow for the apt gas pipe like the old stove did. Unfortunately this puts the stove at least 2” from the wall. Trying to reach GE customer service see what can be done .I want to keep the stove

Good oven, not so great stove top

This is a brand new GE stove and as of one month of use, I think the oven works just fine. However, the stove top is giving me so many problems. The stainless steel is not only impossible to keep clean, no matter what products I use to shine it back up again, and the stainless under the burner I use the most has turned brown. This discoloration will not come off. It seems to have tarnished. As well, the metal lip holding the stove top in place has started to ripple. This stove is only one month old! Another issue I have is where the control panel is located. I understand that I requested a slide in oven which means the controls have to be in the front, but each time I reach over the panel to get to a burner, I seem to turn on the oven or the oven light or some other feature! Why does it have to be so sensitive that it registers my hand without actually touching the panel? I am not a happy customer!!
