Needs a Better Control Pad

I'm enjoying my new slide-in gas range! I've used all the heating surfaces except the grill. I've also used the conventional and convection oven functions. No complaints cooking with this range!
My complaint is regarding the control pad. GE went cheap there. Spending on an oven should not mean you get an adhesive control pad with bubbles in it. Well that's what I got. Since the bubbles were there when it was installed a replacement range was ordered, only to arrive with bubbles in its control pad. That's a quality issue.
My other concern about the labels on the pad wearing off with use. Fingers crossed for that not happening and for the labels lasting as long as the range functions.
It seems GE would gave created a durable control pad and that doesn't have bubbles in its surface.

Great burners

Still trying to learn the stove features. Just wish there was a smaller burner in the front of the stove instead of the back

TEFLON MIDDLE BURNER SCRATCHES EASILY

We love everything about this stove with the exception of the middle burner. The Teflon is easily scratched. It lasted about a month. My daughter loves making french toast. Initially, she used a stainless steel spatula. After one use, there were scratch marks. Switched to plastic, but continued to get worse. If available, I am going to order a cast iron middle griddle, without any coating. But we haven't used it since Oct 2021. It was installed in Sept 2021.

Bottom drawer & hardware not robust

We are on our 2nd range because the cheap plastic drawer guides, and I suspect they will break soon as did on the 1st oven. The drawer doesn't even draw out straight and falls to the floor when completely opened. Why does the cheaper GE model with the exact same frame had more robust hardware (see photos).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love this stove. Cooks so efficiently. Easy to keep stovetop clean. Unfortunately, the PCBoard has a high pitched squeal so GE is sending a replacement- seems to be a common issue. The steam clean did not remove carbonized sugar/butter. Doesn’t come with a user’s guide, so I google a lot of questions. But would buy again, worth the price

LOVE MY NEW RANGE

Just upgraded from the builder grade range that came with the house. So easy to use, true low temp on the burners. Air fried wings for dinner tonight and it performed as advertised! Way to go GE!!
