GE range heaven! Part 2!

We absolutely luuuuv our new GE gas range! We had all the matching GE profile black slate electric appliances prior, including the GE profile electric range. We totally gutted and remodeled our kitchen recently and kept ALL of our original GE appliances to re-install because we LOVE these appliances so much!. We only changed out the original GE electric range because we had the opp to go gas..we have never has a gas range and wanted to do something different as we had heard rave reviews about gas cooking. We gifted the electric range to a friend who asked us what we were going to do with it, because his wife would be absolutely over the moon to have it in her kitchen! Win for everyone! Every function on our new GE gas range delivers! The absolute BEST thing is the middle range top grill plate!!!! OMG!! I use it for everything and it’s been a game changer! We are beyond thrilled!

Overall nice range. The only thing I dont like is the bottom drawer. It is flimsy and comes off the track easily. Not what I would expect for a high end range. GE should do much better.

Handsome stove

After a few weeks of use, stove works very well overall. Simmer is really simmer. High heat is really high heat. Pre-heat takes but a few minutes. Airfry works. Features needing improvement: controls too sensitive. Can’t even wipe without beeps. Must lock controls to avoid annoyance; very hard to clean the disk on top of burner and grates if there is spillage. Even with Bar Keeper’s Friend, needs a lot of scrubbing; Very hard to follow instructions to connect to Smartphone. Wiped stove clean before use and QR code to connect to wifi got erased. Instructions say there is password on the sticker, there is no password. Complaints: no manual came with stove. Must download from GE website. Very inconvenient not to have a manual I can take anywhere to read. Steps to personalize features are maddening. Must press two buttons and more buttons to get to sound so you can increase volume of say when temeperature of oven is reached. A stove should not be this complicated. Many people who will want to buy this stove will be inclined to wish for superman to throw the stove in frustration and I am not a total ding dong with electronics. Tested the oven temp with a manual oven thermometer and the manuak does not yet say 350 degrees but the oven read out already says 350.

Love it,But cracks in touch screen!!

Brought the range in December I truly enjoy it but I noticed in April the touch screen has already started cracking and that’s disappointing. I hope it doesn’t affect the buttons.

Poor constructions

not good for the price.

one of the back burners went out in 2 years. for the price this stove cost you would think it would last longer then 2 years. I've even kept it looking like brand new everyday and it still went out and have to buy replacement parts for it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Valve faliure

the valve just failed. It started with being very stiff and not turning and when it began to turn the gas wont come out.
