Flip 6 has problems compared to Flip 5

I had a Flip 5 and the Flip 6, by comparison, is not as good. I noticed especially at high notes it has a shrill and sharp quality. For example, in a piano selection where the artist is hitting high notes a lot, it is unpleasant. I do not recall having that sensation with the Flip 5. And I am listing to many of the same pieces. I am considering returning the Flip 6.

We recommend connecting the speaker to a different device and try doing a factory reset with the unit to see if the issue remains. To do this, turn on the speaker then press and hold "Volume +" and "Play" for more than 3 seconds. The speaker will turn off, and reboot to factory default. You need to 'forget' the speaker in Bluetooth settings on your phone/tablet in order to pair it again. If you need more help, please contact our customer support. We're here to help.

design is not perfect, battery not as advertised

i got this as an upgrade from the flip 4. the flip speakers have batteries that are no where near the advertised range and also degrade really fast (flip 4 battery became really bad after 2 years, i hope that this flip 6 will last longer)
the JBL logo heats up after prolonged use for me. the battery is definitely not 12 hours..
the design quality is quite sad. you can see in the attached video that the loud bass of the music does actually move the speaker. when i first used it I had placed it on a stand and when i walked away i heard it fall down after playing some music. while i appreciate the power of force from the sound of the speaker, the design should accommodate that. there is such a tiny notch that prevent the device from rolling but it does not have the shape as seen in the Flip 4. this new shape combined with the power force of the sound leads to this frustrating experience in which the speaker tries to escape from you.

Custom ALL The Way

I have always enjoyed Harom Karam audio products and the flip6 is even better than my flip 5 which I lost and now with the customize feature I have gotten many compliments on it. the sound is tremendous. I highly recommend this product.

Poor custom order service

Purchased a custom unit with a protection plan. Brand new out of box, didn't work, followed up for a warranty repair and was instructed to return and purchase a new unit. Offered a discount, but less than original, so replacement would cost SAME as first speaker and extended warranty. Why wasn't I to submit for a warranty repair or just offered a direct exchange?
