Pros: I have this laptop for 1.5 months, which replaced my 2013 fall Macbook Pro and I've been using it for both computational works and digital art. Very fast and lightweight laptop with great battery life and powerful speakers. Hinge is also really sturdy. I used the touchscreen for digital arts and while it's not the best I managed to make it work. I prefer 16:9 over 16:10 aspect ratio but that's my preference.
Cons: One more USB-A port and one HDMI port would be nice. Pen that came with this laptop only has 2 hour battery life and currently, none of Lenovo's pens are compatible with it as the time of this writing. I dislike the up-down-left-right keyboard layout. The touchpad is not as good as Macbook pro. And the keyboard is not as deep as I would like it to be.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've had the Yoga 9i for a few weeks. At 4 days the computer would loop and not allow me to sign in. It wasn't getting past the Windows run. It was frustrating. I called Lenovo helpline and they mailed me a Windows 10 USB flash drive to reinstall. This took 6 days to get here where I couldn't use the computer. I wish they had told me I could have logged into my Microsoft account and gotten the Recovery Key code (which I researched and figured out myself). Once I inputted the Recovery Code the computer came back up and has been working well so far.

Within 72 hours I've already had the machine completed freeze 5 times. It's required a hard reboot each time. This has happened when running OneNote or just Edge. Either this is a refurbished machine which wasn't well repaired, or quality control is lacking. I'm debating whether to bother with an exchange or just ask to return it for a refund.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
