I bought this PC on October-November 2021 and at first everything was great but now everything is terrible. I have had many problems with this PC, there was one time where the PC was on but the screen was totally black. I reached out to support but they never helped and only took 75 USD off of me, but luckily after running out of battery and charging it again I was able to see my screen again. And now another problem that I have is that whenever I connect the charger it looks like it's charging but the % never goes up and this is a big problem for me since I am a college student and I NEED this to do some tasks on-campus but now... I don't know what I am gonna do, this product is completely trash I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

This is a beautiful laptop with great features. This is our second Lenovo Yoga 9 series laptop. Unfortunately, I have a slight preference for our older C940 for two specific reasons. First, the new glass palm rest takes away any tactile feel that you have reached the edge of the trackpad and makes it all but impossible to find the fingerprint sensor in the dark. On the older C940 the trackpad and fingerprint reader were recessed ever so slightly and that was a functional benefit. Second, this thing shows fingerprints all over it like crazy. So, while the new laptop looks beautiful when it's super clean, its functional design is ever so slightly inferior to last year's model. These are minor nit picky issues that I probably wouldn't even be concerned about had I not had last year's model to compare to. In spite of my minor complaints, I highly recommend this laptop.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved almost everything about the Yoga 9i: the screen, the keyboard, the speakers, the form factor. I spent a lot of time researching and I was certain that this was the laptop I wanted. I was so busy setting it up that at first I did not notice the hugely limited WiFi capabilities. I came to realize that the Yoga 9i would not get WiFi unless I was within 10 feet of my router or extender. Even when the Yoga 9i was getting WiFi, it was 50% slower than the WiFi speeds gotten by my other electronics in the same location. I did a lot of digging--because I loved the Yoga 9i and wanted it to work! After lots of time on forums, I learned that there is a common problem people are having. Some thing that there is a chassis problem with the Yoga 9i that prevents the WiFi card from communicating, despite the fact that the card is state of the art. I wanted to badly to keep the Yoga 9i and make it work, but I could not rationalize opening up a brand new laptop to fix a fatal design flaw. I sadly returned my Yoga 9i.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using my Yoga 9i for about two weeks and am very happy with it, but there are some things I'd like to see improved (at the end). The good: The screen is bright and crisp; the keys have an excellent feel and are not too loud; the battery is fantastic!; the speakers sound great- I was pleasantly surprised; the mic provides solid, pleasant sound for other people; you can flip a cover over the camera; it is lightweight compared to most laptops; the black finish looks clean/modern and resists dirt/fingerprints well; I love the fingerprint reader sign-in feature; and the machine has two USB-C/Thunderbolt ports along with a USB 3.0 and in/out audio jack. I don't use much processor, typically. When working with some larger excel files/pivot tables, there's no discernable lag/hang.
Some things that I'd like to see different - #1 by far: I hate the haptic feedback on the touchpad when you push vs tap. It appears we can't turn it off. Boo!
Minor complaints: that camera switch is nearly invisible. Make it gray? or even red! so that I can see if it is open/closed. All of the ports are on the left side, my power outlet is on the right side of my desk. It would be nice if we had a USB-C on each side or even one on the back. The included stylus works well, I have trouble removing it from the docking slot, especially if the screen is open (I assume this is why no USB-C on the R side). A micro-SD card slot would make things much easier for media transfer from a camera.... but that's easy enough to buy a dongle, I suppose. More urgently for my needs: how about adding the option for a SIM card for cellular data? or even better... an eSIM built in! Finally: I'm accustomed to having a docking station. Sure: I can plug in a USB-C docking port... but it's really nice to be able to click into/out of a docking port, but that's a really minor quibble for such a versatile and functional machine.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Contains a powerful processor and is easily able to handle the workload of a graduate student connecting to servers, coding, and having many Google Chrome tab open. Using Windows Subsystem for Linux does sometimes result in virtual machine processes using up all available RAM which is a downside.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m loving my new Yoga i9 14” laptop. The touch screen makes scrolling a breeze. Great battery life. The leather gives it a premium feel.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new Yoga this is the best of the 3 Lenovo's that I own, they all still function I am locked in on your new touch screen. I am old they tell me,but it helps with big old hands. weight is correct, hinge is great, colors are vivid. It understands me !!
