It’s the worst computer I’ve ever owned. The last one I had to replace because it was literally falling apart and the camera didn’t work. Got a new one and it’s freezes a few times a day I have to turn it off. Going back to a mac.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Issues Out of the Box

My last Lenovo was great until it wasn’t. Lasted 5 years though. This one was malfunctioning out of the box. I’ve sent it in so many times for repair. They won’t replace it! It constantly freezes and has had more factory resets than I can count. I am stuck with a laptop that I paid too much for and they won’t replace it. All the extra warranties I purchased were for nothing. I’m done with Lenovo!!!

Disappointed

Cons: Poor pen design, glitchy switching between programs, slow when using Microsoft office suite.
Bought this 4 months ago to use for school. I was really looking forward to the tablet conversion to be able to take notes during class. The pen that it comes with is small (afraid I will snap it while writing) and the battery only lasts ~40 minutes, not even long enough for one class period. Went to upgrade to a sturdier, longer lasting lenovo pen, and NONE are compatible with this computer. Huge disappointment for a laptop that is sold as a 2 in 1.
Otherwise the system has a hard time with switching between programs, and nothing to demanding, like between word and chrome. Pretty slow when working with Microsoft suite for whatever reason, but then if I stream a movie the system has no problem handling that, and the sound bar is awesome.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We recommend updating your system through both Windows and Lenovo Vantage.

For Windows Updates:
1. Go into your system settings
2. Click on "Windows Update"
3. Click "Check for Updates"
4. Run all recommended Windows/driver updates located here

For Lenovo Vantage Updates:
1. Launch Vantage which is already installed on your system (please search for "Vantage" on your task bar)
2. Click the “Check for System Updates" button
3. Run all BIOS/Driver updates as recommended
