[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I specifically asked if the touchpad issues had been resolved before purchasing the Yoga 9i and was assured they were. The touchpad issues make the entire laptop unusable. It seemed like it would have been a nice computer besides this, but I will not be able to find out. A disappointment.

Displeased with my entire experience

I bought this computer back in March. At first, I was really enjoying my switch from Mac products over to a PC. I do not use this computer for anything more than school work and web searches. I have been extremely gentle with it. However, within the last week I have run into more issues than I ever did with my Mac in the 8 years I had it. My first issue was with power issues on the device. I could not get the computer to turn on or charge. The support chat on mobile phone was next to impossible to use. When you attempted to try and find other information or send a picture the chat would disconnect and several times I had to begin the process over with different service techs. I was sent a new charger. This did not resolve the issue. With, once again, multiple attempts to reach out via chat and having been disconnected from chats multiple times they had me send the laptop into the repair center. Nothing was officially diagnosed, their repair status tracker only stated that they found the issue and resolved it. I have no idea what the actual issue or solution was. Upon return the keyboard was locked in certain ways that I could not figure out how to unlock with multiple google searches. Once again, I made several attempts to chat with the support, was disconnected and had to explain over and over the issue at hand. If I could still return this device for my money back I would gladly do so. I switched over to PC from Mac and have had nothing but issues since. I have never made a more regrettable decision when it has come to electronics. I have no doubt that I will continue to have issues and unfortunately I will not be under warranty forever.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've has the 2021 Yoga 9i for about a month now and so far enjoy using it. My only issue is the aspect ratio. I was really hoping the 2022 version would be released early so I could have gotten the 16:10 aspect ratio but I couldn't wait as I needed a laptop right away and couldn't beat the deal Lenovo was offering. By the way, my young daughter loves the included pen.

I can pick it up and take it to client meetings without having to worry about the battery being charged, since it lasts so long. The integrated pen essentially gives me a portable whiteboard where I can collaborate with my team and my clients at all times. I use it to run two other monitors frequently so I can have a big, large screen experience as well.
