[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This laptop is perfect for my digital illustration needs! It supports my favorite software so far, the 2-in-1 options are great for working comfortably for hours as it allows me to change positions as needed, it looks stunning and feels great to use. My favorite games all run really well, too - just an added bonus, as a person who appreciates beautiful graphics. The 14" size is perfect for portability as well, and it's extremely lightweight. I upgraded from my old 2004 Lenovo, which still worked perfectly fine for what it was, so I have a lot of trust in Lenovo and am thrilled to be using the Yoga 9i now!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Coming from a 2021 Dell 15-5000, this is my 1st Lenovo ever. I like the solid build, design look, display, and sound. Battery life could be better b/c the charger brick is big to pack around. Love that I am able to adjust so many settings with the Vantage app. If those features/settings had been advertised, I wouldn't have taken so long to choose this. My Mac-loving brother is impressed with this laptop. What could be better is the warranty options. The shipping process was not great.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the original X1 Yoga a few years ago and it's been a great laptop but it was getting time to replace it. The display on the original Yoga is very good, the 4K display on the 9i is amazing. Add to that the capabilities of the external displays (another 4K and an WUXGA) and it's an impressive laptop. The only thing I miss is the track stick. I can never get used to the track pads.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very nice, fast computer. I think the 2-in-1 is the best design yet for a computer that functions as both a laptop and a tablet. When you lift the lid, it works as a laptop. To use it as a tablet, you push the lid all the way around until it is closed (the keyboard is disabled in this position). The sound is great - it has a sound bar - this corrects the usual sound problem with laptops, because they generally have poor speakers. The computer is nice and fast. The solid state drive is much better than the old spindle-drives. It takes only a few seconds to start up or shut down. The whole package is very compact. It weighs about two pounds, so it is not too heavy on your lap. The touch screen works very well in tablet mode. It comes with a touch-pen in its own storage slot, so it is always with you and is always charged up. The only drawback, which makes me 99% satisfied instead of 100%, is about the keyboard. It does not have six separate keys that I would like: (1) Left-click and right-click mouse buttons - they are embedded into the corners of the touchpad. (2) Home, end, page-up, and page-down - you need to use Fn key combinations. Overall though, this is an excellent product.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tried out the laptop for 1 week so far:
Pros:
-lightweight
-mostly fast (but comparing against my very old previous laptop)
-pen comes in handy
-nice that I can charge with any USB-C charger cable
Cons:
-While typing in different programs/interfaces, the cursor will have trouble going exactly where I need it to go. Hard for formatting documents/figure creation/general typing
-The touch screen is sporadically working and overall the user interface is jumpy
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3rd time yoga buyer - yoga 900 clementine, then yoga 920 mica, and now yoga 9i shadow black. clementine edition was definitely my favorite color and form factor (still miss the rubber palm rest). but it is a welcome return to soft edges with 9i. the big negative for daily with 930 was the ultra sharp edges.
the brighter screen is great when working from outdoor patios. the leather screen back is definitely a plus when it comes to grabbing the laptop over the slick, sharp edged 930. sound seems upgraded? there is definitely more bass from the soundbar when compared to 930.
the keyboard is quieter and has better tactile (sticky) feel than the 930. i seem to type a little faster with fewer typos. the form factor is a little less longer than the 930 (they found a way to shrink it) and when paired with my lenovo thinkvision 14t usb-c monitor, the screens are at the same height, resulting in seamless scrolling across screens.
