The air fryer just arrived today and I followed the instructions to test the air fryer function and black smoke started coming out after just 2 minutes of turning it on. It was so much that my fire alarm went off. There were no plastic parts or food inside which is what the instructions told me to do for the test run. It scared me so much. I'm so glad everyone is safe.
It seems to work pretty darn well. I am exploring what it can do and what it can't do. So far everything I have asked of it, it does! I ever baked bread in it - although to get a crisp crust on the bottom, I had to turn it over and give it a little extra time. It's a good little machine so far and sits on my patio. I read that North American people spend 94 per cent of their time indoors. So now I cook outside even in winter. And I like it!
