Almost perfect

I previously had the iPhone 12 Pro Max and I was having so many issues with it including an issue apple themselves had never heard of (I couldn’t send a text to anyone not in my contacts without the phone freezing). I gave up on trying to fix it and just purchased the iPhone 14 pro max. I was very skeptical having read the reviews and continuing to buy iPhone despite all gut feelings telling me to go with Android. I’m glad I didn’t and gave this phone a shot. I did not restore from a backup which I think helped fix most of my issues if I’m being honest. It’s a pleasure to use daily and I’m heavy power user. It doesn’t skip a beat. When I watch videos in bed, the screen is a little too bright for me and I always switch over to my iPad Air 5th gen. This phone has surprised me and I’m glad I gave iPhone one more shot. I got in the silver 256 gb variant and the silver is absolutely stunning.

Switched to iPhone

I was an iPhone user, then switched to Android to get bigger phones so this is my first iPhone I have had in 8 years. Honestly it is ok. The face ID works great, and the battery life is very strong on this device. Other than that, I find it lacking compared to the Galaxy phones. Slower UI, less customization, slower apps, glitching carplay, bluetooth drops a lot. Its a good (not great) phone but will be going back to a Galaxy or maybe Pixel phone when I can.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Its a nice phone, solidly built with a great screen and above all IT WORKS as it should be. On the Nicky-picky side, being the flagship model of Apple, I wish it had Wifi 6E support and an API for pulling Engineering data to an app. However these are not a necessity for 99.999% of the users.
If it holds as well as my XS Max I will be very happy. So far very happy with it.

I’ve had the phone with 256 GB in Deep Purple for several months now. It is my favorite phone other than the last one I had which was the 11 Pro Max and the one before that, the 8 Pro Max. It’s a sleek phone design, works great, and is reliable. The only issue I have EVER had was one time it froze overnight and I missed my alarm for work. Then again, it was a freak incident and has only ever happened once since having the phone for several months. Other than that, there is nothing I can complain about. Definitely recommend the phone. Camera is phenomenal too!
