So much better!

I love this new & improved version of the drop humidifier. It is easy to fill with water, it can change colors, has the option for essential oils AND it’s a sound machine. There are so many bonuses with this version.
I do have the 1 gal drop humidifier as well, but I definitely prefer this version.

Must Have Humidifier

I’ve been a longtime fan and frequent user of Crane products and I’m always so excited when new products come out. Just when I think they can’t be topped Crane outdoes themselves! The new 1 gallon 4-In-1 top fill Drop Cool Mist Humidifier is a must have in any home for so many reasons! It’s sleek modern look make it compatible with any decor and it’s easy to use functions make it a no brainer! The top fill feature is by far my favorite new feature for our Crane humidifier collection. It’s easy to quickly fill and holds a whopping gallon making it last longer between fill ups. It’s easy to clean wide top is great for avoiding hard to reach areas and detachable cord is a bonus. Easy to operate buttons for speed ensure you can control output to your liking and with a 24 hour run time and automatic shut off when water runs out make it one less thing to worry about overnight. It’s so quiet I forget it’s on! Have kids? No problem you are covering with the perfect amount of light in the color changing night light feature. Need noise? No problem! The sound machine feature has you covered whether you prefer rain, ocean sounds or just white noise. I’m a huge fan of the added aroma tray which adds a lovely fresh scent to any room it is in. I’m excited to upgrade all our humidifiers to these amazing new 4-In-1 design even though the other styles are still great after years of use!

Loose seam led to pink mildew

After one season and meticulous cleaning, the basin developed pink mildew I cannot get out despite multiple attempts and re-cleaning. There seems to be a gap between the seams that created a space for mildew growth that cannot be cleaned. Please send a replacement basin. The motor also got louder after a few weeks, but the mildew bothers me more.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Humidifier, sound machine, and lite light!

I had purchased in the past the original Drop Mist humidifier. I saw this new one and wanted to try it. On the original drop the cord is a hassle and filling can be a little pain. I love the top fill since it is easy and simple to refill quickly and quietly which is great when you loved ones may be asleep in the room. I also love the detachable cord. No risks of tripping or getting it damp. The night lights are red or blue. The noise machine is easy to control, with a handful of typical sounds to pick from. The humidifier mist itself has 3 settings, low , med., high. This is the one feature I wish was like the older original drop model. I preferred the dial adjustor where you can real control the amount of humidity. On this model there doesn't seem to be a big difference between settings.

Perfect for our bedroom

We have been using this humidifier in our bedroom for a few weeks now and we love it! We live in Denver, where it is incredibly dry and we've seen the humidity increase in our room from 23% to 31%. We run it on high while we are asleep and it's perfect. The display goes dark, so there are no bright lights shining, and it has a nice noise machine option. I have to have noise playing while I sleep and this isn't quite as loud as I like but it's definitely enough to help me sleep. It's super easy to fill and fits under our sink easily. Since it is a top fill humidifier I am not dripping all over the floor on the way back to putting it on it's base. The grey color is nice and subtle but I kind of regret not getting the blue one for a fun pop of color in our bedroom :)

Better than older Droplet Ultrasonic humidifier

I also have the Crane Droplet Ultrasonic Cool Mist Humidifier and this one is better for a few reasons:
1. This is a top fill which makes it way easier to fill up compared to the older Droplet
2. The older droplet has a light on the front that can’t be turned off at night and sometimes is too bright. I love that the light on this one can be turned on but also turned off when desired.
3. It has a sound machine built into it, and personally the rain sound is my favorite out of the three sounds.
4. You can actually still use the light and sound machine features without the humidifier misting. So let’s say in the middle of the night the basin runs out of water, your sound and light won’t turn off!
5. This one has the option of using essential oils where the older droplet doesn’t.

So easy to clean!!

I got the new Crane top fill with sound machine mostly because I loved that it included the sound machine. What I realized was it was the cleaning that I loved the most. Love the fact that I can place my hand inside the tank to clean. I also like the ease of the detachable cord. Perfect.

I love all the extra features

This is my favorite humidifier we’ve ever had. It has all the best features- top fill (the best because you don’t get water everywhere filling it), lights that change colors and it even has a white noise option. I love that now I don’t have to have 3 different devices on my kids dresser, I can have just have one!
