[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The P14s is a great size for travel. Lenovo packed in a lot of power. I can game and practice server infrastructure development at the same time. The keyboard is good and the ThinkPad pointing stick is the best of any laptop. The drawback is that cooling can get loud. My experience could benefit from better passive cooling.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Right out of the box it was an easy setup. The face recognition was an added bonus. I won’t be so engulfed in work that I forget to look up and not get too close to my screen! I love that it is so light weight and the processing speed was just what I have been waiting for. No more slow to load webpages and now I will be able to use the engineering software without worry of crashing!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this laptop for about a month now. Pretty pleased with it does everything I intended to do with it. My only concern is the battery life althought I'm not too worried about it since it charges up fast.

T480s-P14s---NOT an "upgrade"

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are thinking of "upgrading" from the T480s to the P14s......DON'T. The P14s SUCKS. The battery life SUCKS. The heat management SUCKS. I am the President of the Company. We are a Lenovo shop. I had a flawless experience for years with the T480s. That machine never gave me a lick of trouble. Battery life was outstanding. Heat dissipation was outstanding. I figured I would "upgrade" to the P14s and handed my T480s down to a salesperson within our company. I regret it big time. I had the battery replaced under warranty and had to make time in my schedule to have a Lenovo authorized contractor replace the battery. No change at all. Battery life SUCKS. I am lucky to get a few hours out of it, even with drastic measures with the configuration to save battery power. The P14s is no comparison to the T480s. If you are still using a T480s keep it for as long as you can.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
