PASTEL!

The lights are PASTEL colors - not the bright colors that Christmas decorations normally have. The entire effect of this tree is extremely 'soft'. Its nice if that's what you want, but, normal Christmas decorations are much brighter, more visible. I'm in my mid-70s and this looks to me like something my grandmother would buy; I would walk into her house and think, "Maybe old ladies would like that, but it's not something for me." I will definitely return this. It's a shame, because I was really looking forward to it.
The actual product appears to be well made; it works well; it was packed well; all the plastic 'bulbs' are firmly inserted; there are no issues; the product does appear to be well made. It's just that the overall effect one gets from this product is sooo extremely soft - nice for Easter, maybe, but not my idea of Christmas decor.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Mine has obvious flaws and I can’t even figure out how to return it! I’m very disappointed and it looks and feels cheap! The flaw in the front stands out like a sore thumb and my lights flicker when I touch it! And as I keep looking I’m finding even more flaws!

I was amazed that this item not only showed up on time but was still in one piece! Ordered this for my mom. She had one that was her grandmother’s but it was smashed during a move a few years back. Mom got rid of most of her Christmas decorations shorty after the move when my dad became sick. Dad passed away in October and mom went on a decorating spree but didn’t have a tree, or much anything else, to put up. During dinner one evening, she mentioned the old tree she used to have wishing she had made the house more festive this year. When this arrived on her door step she was absolutely amazed! I was pleased to find the quality of this tree to be superb! I recommend that if you are searching for the little ceramic tree that your great grandmother had, this is the one you should purchase!

So lovely! I had one of these as a kid and the only drawback is that they glued in the lights so you don't get to do it yourself... I used to spend hours doing the lights as a kid and hoped that for my daughter. Otherwise though, it looks lovely! The white is perfect for a house by the beach!
