but the lip on my desk is not wide enough to accommodate this--in addition the arm movement is very stiff so the screens can't be moved easily.

Probably my error, but the lip on my desk is not wide enough to accommodate this--in addition the arm movement is very stiff so the screens can't be moved easily.

Faulty item

Giving it a three star because I don't know whether I got a bad one, but one of the arms holds up my monitor just fine but when I put my other monitor, the same one as the first, on the other side, it can't hold the weight. Again, I don't know if I got a faulty one, but I can only use one side and my other monitor is just sitting on my desk with the stand, completely defeating the purpose of why I bought the mount it.

I have my 28 inch monitor mounted using this mount. I've mounted it using the desk clamp and grommet base and both worked well. There's not much to the install.I do get wobbling though and I'm unsure what to blame here. I didn't always have the wobbling so I figured something just loosened up since I installed it, but I've ensured everything's tight and my monitor still noticeably wobbles while typing. I've re-read the install guide that came with it to make sure that I didn't miss anything and I'm not seeing anything. To stop it for now I've just stuck a box underneath it so that the box is between my monitor and the desk which 100% stops the wobbling, but if I needed the monitor high enough to where a box wouldn't easily reach, I would definitely have to find another mount.

Action is a bit stiff and I'd rather have a center view that articulate more

This is a great sturdy product

This is a great sturdy product, hefty and build solid, with a lot of room for adjustments. Do yourself a favor and buy extra long cables for your monitors, the routing through the arms and down the tubular stand is longer than it looks.

I have 2 - 20 inch HP monitors. I removed one link from each arm. works perfectly.only negative is the monitors are roughly 8 inches from the back edge of my desk. that is the farthest back i could set the stand.very versatile, if the clamp won't work for you, you can drill a hole in your desk and mount it through the hole with the included hardware.
