Ear protection

I have used these earplugs for protection for years. Just got another pair for myself and a friend. Enjoy live music, but it's so loud. No more headaches and ringing in my ears without distorting the quality of the music.

This is an excellent product for its purpose. I would reorder them again. Unfortunately, the neck cord was not included this time which makes it easier to lose an earplug. I may try dental floss as a substitute.

Effective Solution for Reducing Ambient Noise

I use these on long haul flights and within our household where I have a serious musician practicing several hours a day. They do not block out sound as well as expensive noise canceling headphones, but they do reduce the noise levels so that they are not distracting. As far as comfort as compared to noise cancelling headphones, I find that headphones are really uncomfortable and hurt the top of my head if worn for long periods of time. These earplugs avoid that, but after a long period of time the plugs can get uncomfortable as the rub my ear canal. Would I buy these again? Yes. They are way more comfortable than less expensive foam earplugs.

They're plugs, for your ears

There are many plugs in the world. Bath plugs, hair plugs, free plugs, Plugger, sink plugs. But none of those plugs will fit your ear, and trying to make them fit may even cause discomfort. But these plugs are *for* your ears, and while they do not cause discomfort, they plug said ears well enough to provide the sound attenuation exactly as described in their specification. Amazing!

Still the Best!

I've had my ETY Plugs since I was in High School. They've held up for so long and recently needed a pair for my partner for a concert we were going to. Of course she loved them. They work great without sacrificing sound quality. Will always buy ETY Plugs

Perfect for my needs

I shoot .22 Rimfire. The etymotic ear protection meets my needs perfectly. I can hear what people are saying yet have the hearing protection I need. There is a plus. I do have sensitive ears and many concert venues have deaf sound engineers. (Too LOUD!) The etymotic ear plugs are a perfect comprise. And work great while flying. And on factory floors. 20+ year user. Buy replacement plugs.

Great for musicians

These earplugs work very well for me. They are easy to put on for rehearsals and concerts, but can be removed quickly when I need to talk with someone. I play French horn in large bands, so the earplugs give me protection not only from the loud sounds, but also from my own instrument. I tried custom-made musician's earplugs, but they were always difficult and time-consuming to fit properly in my ears. The ETY plugs work much better for me, although I guess they don't give as high a protection level as the custom ones would, were I able to insert them properly. They also allow me to hear the other musicians and my own instrument, just at a much lower volume. I also like the cord and carrying case, which I can attach to my instrument case so the plugs are always at hand.

Best Earplugs On The Market

I was introduced to Ety's by a friend into drum and bass, and kept the same pair for maybe 5-6 years, forgetting and then remembering I had them. I just got a new combo pack and love the new case design. Keep up the great work guys, you make an outstanding product.
