haven't gotten a chance to test rendering softwares with it yet but i am sure it will keep up easily. no issue with fan noise...as i do not play games. multitasking is a breeze. overall: HP: 9/10 only to give room for improvement windows 10: 1/10 what is wrong with the constant registration account, log in inquiry, e-mail request, phone number...you want my bank account too? sorry no.
Bought this a few weeks back, unfortunately unit needs to be returned due to freezing. I would have prefered a new unit be sent instead of now not having a computer to use.
I set up the computer including connecting it to My Cloud Home that was synced to my old computer. I found out that the new computer was set up with the documents, videos and picture files being saved on the 256 GB SSD drive. There was not enough room on that drive for all the files and it WOULD NOT let me move the to the D drive. I restored to factory settings but found that as soon as I was on the internet it started downloading the files to the new computer do I had to start over again. I have restored factory settings and waiting to finish. I don't know yet if I can prevent clouds from downloading. If not this computer is coming back. What a waste of my time. You should have set the computer up with all those days files on the D drive. That is what the Data drive is for RIGHT???
I'm a heavy multi-tasking user of MSOffice spreadsheets and graphics software. I needed a computer with the processing speed , quick boot, and graphics capability to handle it all. Before I stumbled on this "gaming PC" by accident, I had already decided to build my own because there wasn't a reasonably priced PC that could offer everything I needed for work. So far I've been extremely happy with this PC, the only upgrade was 1 TB SSD for large graphics quick load. Excellent high end office PC\workstation!!!
This device constantly loses the wifi signal. Every other device in the house works fine on the network. But this HP desktop drops the connection multiple times a day.
