I'm not a gamer. I bought this computer because it has a 2TB drive and 16GB of RAM. Although the first unit HP sent me wouldn't boot, they sent the replacement promptly. The only reservation I have is that the mechanical drive cycles down a bit too often. I'm also not a big fan of the green light at the bottom of the case, which cycles off and on; it's a bit distracting at times. I have yet to investigate if there is a way to turn it off or make it stay on all the time. I'd call these minor points. The computer is well-specced and works fine. I even like the feel of the standard keyboard that comes with it.

Makes my games run butter-y smooth but it sounds like a jet engine and you can feel the air being sucked in like it's an air purifier. I attribute the powerful rtx3060 inside a medium sized case. I'm definitely going to need canned air. Runs Half Life Alex VR via virtual desktop easy peasy.

The product’s paper specs looked great, it arrived early than scheduled too but most importantly the desktop didn’t turn on right out of the box. It’s a basic simple thing which should be checked before blindly shipping it to customers and having them go through the pain of returns and replacement. Totally not acceptable. Good thing was the customer support, there were fast and kind enough to guide the return and replacement process smoother.

Computer Freezing up and locks up too often.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far not so happy. The computer freezes up way to often. HP support not to helpful. Not running any strange software. Only gaming program is MS flight sim which is also experiencing issues getting knocked off, loosing control or freezes up.

I bought this to replace an older Dell PC. Having an i7 processor, it is much faster than the i5 in my previous desktop. The tower is small - a real blessing where space is at a premium. I had read reviews that said this is a loud unit. I disagree. It is not silent, but I barely hear it running. The lack of an optical drive is a minor drawback, especially for installing older games that are on discs. Most games, however, are downloadable.All in all I am very, very pleased with this PC!w
