This is perfectly capable of handling all his school work and still be sufficient to play games with his friends online, which is very important during stay at home orders

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the computer a month ago and it came with a periodic whining sound (likely from the HDD) including every time it shut down. Rather than simply sending me a replacement (like just about every other consumer good today) and taking this one back HP directed me towards a laborious repair process. Which is now delayed for another two weeks. So in the four weeks since I bought this machine I've had it a total of six days.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this computer so I could play the new Microsoft Flight Simulator and once this computer was working and fully operational it was amazing, in fact had it not been for the reason that the computer wasn't working well I would have probably given it 5 stars. For two weeks after getting it the computer would crash randomly, turned out HP did not update the BiOS before shipping the computer to me. So yes, get this computer, but update the BioS as soon as you get it.

Works fine and only slight issue would be that when I bought it, the specs said that the PC had a platinum rated power supply, but came with a gold rated instead. Works well, and will update if any further issues come up.
