I purchased this until to replace a high end D-Link that was failing. I plugged the new Asus unit in and downloaded the phone app to manage it. To my amazement, the install process was flawless and simple. I even did a firmware update from the phone with zero effort. The management on this router is amazing. It has all the features I could want including a scheduled reboot, something I desperately needed on my last router. I'm not sure I'll need it, but I am very happy that feature is there. The wireless performance has been stellar. It is fast and stable in all areas of my apartment (even with concrete walls). I also love that there is only a single network that handles all frequencies instead of the separate 2gh and 5gh of my last unit. It's only been a couple of weeks I've been using this unit, but so far I am very impressed and will likely only consider Asus routers going forward.

ASUS RT-AX92 is Faster in the right conditions!

I purchased the ASUS RT-AX92U because it's WiFi-6 and I'm paying for 400mps Home Internet and the Internet Company hands out WiFi-4 Routers expecting customers would not know what they're putting up with.
The ASUS RT-AX92U is great, though it still suffers from the occasional Start/Stop while buffering. I've tried both 5ghz Channels, and the Samsung Smart Monitor still buffers during the day (just not as long as the WiFi-4 Cable Companies Router).
Even when the ASUS RT-AX92U is in the same room it Starts/Stops, so purchasing another RT-AX92U to try a Mesh scenario probably wouldn't help.
I guess the real-way to deal with the situation is just direct wire the Samsung Smart Monitor to the ASUS RT-AX92 via Cat-6e.., but who wants to do that and have to drill a hole in the floor from the Office routed under the floor through the basement and back up through the floor behind the Monitor Cabinet?

This does great linking up to my office. It feels like the signal strength drops rapidly. My garage/shop is 15 feet away and the signal struggles to make it to some devices in the shop. Other than that, I love the AI mesh. Downloads and uploads go so smoothly. Having this in my office allows me to trust my connection at all times. Adding this to the ROG main hub was super easy as well.

We experienced frequent buffering interruptions during live streamed broadcasts. Asus tech support was contacted twice and the recommended solutions failed to resolve the problem both times. We had to return the router and acquire another manufacturer’s router.
