[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great computer, have had no issues so far. Battery life is great and will benefit me going into grad school
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Its nice and fast but "No Back Light" on the key bourd is not good and the power button option to shut down is kinda hard to do perform also. Y last lap top was a dell and it was GREAT for years im considering going back to it after using this one ... we'll see in the next coming weeks when I start grad school.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first received my Lenovo Yoga 7 I felt it was too big. But once I started using it I start it to like it more and more. It's really fast, smooth transitions, nice quiet keyboard, and the sound and colors are great! It's my first time purchasing a Lenovo product and I'm hooked! I love the touchscreen feature, specially when using my pen!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far this laptop is great. I needed a new one since I ended up breaking the screen on my old laptop. It is fast and easy to use. It did take a minute to understand Windows 11, but all good.

Good laptop with REALLY BAD HINGES - DON'T BUY

I bought 2 of these within the past 2 years. These are not cheap laptops and they have pretty good specs and performance. I expected to be able to keep them for at least 5+ years.
But after about a year of very gentle use a hinge attachment point behind the lcd suddenly broke when I opened the lid. I had to pay for a replacement of the LCD cover to fix it which I did thinking that it was just a glitch.
A few months later a second laptop did exactly the same but this time the broken hinge also cracked the LCD. Both laptops never left the desk and were very gently used. Googling this issue returns many similar threads and complaints. At this point I'm really not sure whether it's worth fixing it. I've already spent well over $1700 on both laptops and even if I replace the broken parts there's no way to prevent if from happening again.
Basically it's a combination of very tight hinges and thin plastic mounting points that will definitely fail sooner or later on every single one of these laptops. Lenovo is of course not acknowledging their design fault and will not do anything to fix it or prevent it from happening in the future.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
