[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The laptop function is fine. However, it is not really functional as a tablet. Its a little bit too big and the keyboard on the other side makes it awkward to hold. It should also come with a pen since a pen is essential to using the tablet mode.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The design of the laptop is good as well as its aesthetics. It's beautiful and a delight.
Battery life is good but never meets the advertisement of 15 hours at the best battery lasts about 4 to 5 hours with usual use and web browsing.
I bought the 500nits display, it is bright and you can use it outdoor. However, the quality of the monitor, its color contrast compared to other laptops I had so far is disappointing...
The system has a lot of features compared to the other competitors and is affordable in this sense.
The 2-in-1 feature is a delight but since it is a heavy laptop you may not use it much. it is a worthwhile feature to pay a few bucks for it.
The memory management is miserable, even with 16GB you can run out of memory just by keeping your several webpages open in Wedge. I used it with my virtual reality headset, it was ok but I am not satisfied. With those specs, I expected a better performance.
All in all, it is worth buying but you may be disappointed to learn on some fronts this Yoga 15” i7 does not meet your expectation.

I am careful with the laptop as I'm aware of the hinge issue and made sure to buy a case. Overall, it serves it's purpose and am happy with the purchase.
