A set that you can build and play with for hours

This set is awesome!! I love the fact that I was just able to build a working remote controlled car. The sticker sheet was probably the only thing I didn’t really like doing. The app is amazing too. It can tell when you flip and on what side you are on because it changes the color of controls to go with the color of the car. I had a lot of fun running it around the house. I only wish it went a little faster but I still love. 10 out of 10!! Recommend!!

Battery contacts were not working

My husband had to put thin foil in order for the battery contacts to work, we definitely expected for this to work how it was supposed to

Difficult build, but lots of fun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my almost 13 year old son who loves to build robots and use technology to control them. As soon as it arrived he took the parts out the box. I thought it would take him a week or so to build it, but he was excited to see it work and did a bit every day for a few days until it was completed. There were parts that were difficult for him to put together, but I only had to help him twice. The rest of it he did completely by himself. The Lego tank (as we call it) is so much fun to watch! We installed the required app to control it on a tablet and my son was driving it all over the house. The tank starts driving up a wall and then flips when gravity takes over. The controls switch too when the tank flips and the other side starts driving. There are also games and things on the app that you can play with the tank which my son has been playing with. My other 2 kid took turns setting up walls out of Legos and magnetic tiles for the tank to knock over. It has already provided many hours of family fun. There was only 1 thing that is a problem with it. When it flips, sometimes the other side's "cab" doesn't pop up and then the tank treads are up too high and it makes it harder to flip again. My son found a way to fix this by adding a few random extra pieces that he had, but that was the only problem we had with it. I would HIGHLY recommend this for 12+ and am planning to purchase other pieces in this Lego Technic set.

Good, fun product, tracks come off sometimes

This is my son’s review. It was easy to build. Good instructions. Easy to link with tablet but sometimes the hub didn’t process. Log out and then log in and it works. The tracks come off when you drop it from a certain height or you don’t put the tracks on tightly. I enjoyed playing with it watching it flip orange and blue and showed my family. I played with it a lot at first but not as much anymore. It would be better if I could add accessories like snowplows and blasters. It would be cool to put in a guy who would fit. all in all, a good toy.

Definitely awesome to build!

It came in multiple steps so you’re not overwhelmed by all the pieces (which is easy to do) After building it you’re able to control it with your phone like a “remote control” which is super cool. It doesn’t necessarily do much or go super fast but it’s definitely neat for kids. Would recommend for any older kids!

Instructions are good but you have to really think and have enough time to build this. Great bonding time! Quality is great (as always) and app control is genius us! We will be getting another one for us to have races and we are thinking this will be a great gift also for our nephew! Lego builders, don’t hesitate! You will LOVE this one!

It is a lot of fun. The directions are really easy to follow they point out every part and where it goes.
