Very nicely engineered, perfect fit and flow.

Everything went together smoothly, hardest part was probably insuring that the decals were kept aligned. A very satisfying build. I guess I can see why the gold trim on the side windows is too high above the shoulder line probably to stay in synch with front windshield and rear pillar. (?) That's a small issue though. This completes 3 of the 7 2022 series my wife birthday gifted me. Lovely lady!

Love the design, dissapointed by stickers.

I love the Speed Champion series. In fact have built over 20 of theses cars for myself to display.
I love the car and the design of the car. However, I am not pleased by the stickers as they are defects - I EVEN SUBMITTED REPLACEMENTS!
Lego is really good for missing pieces and sticker replacements. I did receive my sticker replacements and the pieces that were missing. I was happy to get the pieces that were missing, but the stickers are still not matching by design. They're prooly cropped or not positioned correctly. Annoying stickers can be, but they are a huge part of a set. Having a set with inconsistencies on the stickers doesn't look great - Specifically on the side skirts mostly. This is why I'm reviewing this with less of a higher rating.
Don't get me wrong, it's a good set with good design. I don't know if I'm having unfortunate luck on this car but I'm not very happy by the end results - for displaying purposes especially.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is a weak model. Everyone who build this model, they noticed for sure, that it has 3 weak parts.
The Spoiler and the Hood are attached with only 2x1 plate, and it is veeryy weak. Also, side parts are very weak, right next to driver's ,there is a plate 4x1, which is connected only with 1 part, also there is a triangle in the bottom, and every time you hold the car from there it breaks up.
The Lamborghini Countach was a great model, this has not 1, but 3-4 major weak points.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent for display; OK for play

This model is striking to look at, the green stands out among the red and white cars in the series. Playability is impaired by what I feel are loosely connected parts, held by a single stud, in the doors and rear fender which dislodge while playing with the car.
I'll leave this one on the shelf and "race" some of the others.

Nice car, but some frustrating experiences

I built this set and just finished after 2 hours. I miss the snap when attaching the pieces. It takes a few presses to make sure larger plates are attached.
On page 26 there is an error in step 18 in placing the sticker. It shows it upside down; incorrect. And on page 68, step 60 piece 6210270 needs to be placed in the front studs of piece 6211476, not the back. This was frustrating because it falls apart when done incorrectly. I could use an extra set of stickers to replace the “Lotus” sign.

Not Fitting Right

I was really excited about this next round of Speed Champions. After picking this up and a few others I realized the the pieces definitely do not fit flush and after putting the hood of the car together, taking it apart and putting back together I realized that it appears to be an issue with pieces fitting properly. It is a bit frustrating and disappointing.
I would recommend this to a friend!
