Great build project

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this for our daughters to build. They have both enjoyed the process of building the Hogwarts Magical Trunk. It took them a little longer than some of the other items they have built (they lost a piece for a little bit), but they really enjoyed the challenge.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Misleading product

My 8 year old received this for his birthday and is disappointed. First of all he has built many lego sets but he was frustrated building this because the trunk keeps coming apart. Second it’s not really a trunk because the back is open which is stupid and barely holds the pieces it came with. Third it is complicated to change the rooms around. Not worth the money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This was way over priced and it should have been for a lower age category as well. 2hr build with wayyyy to many extra play pieces

Highly engaging

1. Over 600 pieces so if you have little kids, this will keep them busy for hours.
2. I sometimes ask them to redo the trunk, against popular demand. But taking things apart and putting them back together is a great way to build an engineering mind.
3. Endless fun - my kids are lego fans and they combine this with other Harry Potter legos for hours of fun.
Cons
1. The size is a bit smaller than what you'd expect. Look at the pictures of the mini figurines for reference.
Overall rating 5/5

Legos for 9 grandchildren

Priced to high for its size and sticker solution

As many have mentioned already, this set is priced too high for its small size. It would be a different matter if the furniture and wall pieces were printed instead of coming with fairly large stickers.

Disappointing

While the minifigures are great. The entire build is so so so so small. Very disappointed in the build. In order to set up some of the rooms you have to disassemble items. Anticlimactic and tiny. Way overpriced for what you get.
