Bricks of Inspiration

Just when I thought my resident Lego Master (12 year old son) could be inspired no further, he completed this build with new aspirations to explore future possibilities of becoming an architect and/or structural engineer. While my son’s interests and future aspirations have been reflected as the primary motivation behind his set choices, this set left me in wonder - he isn’t a fan of European football, hasn’t personally visited the stadium, or never shown interest in the constructs of stadiums. This set, much to my surprise, however, brought to my attention my son’s growing interest in architecture. Proof, yet again, Lego unlocks passions and builds dreams!

Boring and repetitive, but nice end result

This was by far the most repetitive and boring build I have done. I’m really not sure what they could have done differently because the end result is very nice. In fact I like the look of this stadium more than the Man U stadium, but the Man U stadium was not nearly as boring to build. I’d recommend this set to a Barca fan or a soccer fan in general, but not to the average Lego enthusiast.

A soccer lovers Dream

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set that faithfully captures the glory and spirit of Barcelona’s iconic stadium. Camp Nou is a stadium that has borne witness to some of club football’s most beloved and decorated teams, and celebrated some of the game’s most gifted stars.
It comes in a fairly large box in the Creator Expert styling. The age range is set at “18+”, but there’s nothing in this set that couldn’t be handled by a much younger builder. My teen daughter is 15 and she had this knocked out in less than two days without needing any help. This set comes with two instruction manuals. The first is 312 pages long, with the first 18 pages taken up with an overview of FC Barcelona / Camp Nou’s history. This was a really great educational lesson for my soccer loving girl. Definitely a plus for any parent wanting to turn play time in to an educational opportunity.
If you’re an FC Barcelona fan, this is a must for you.

I love how Lego has done two soccer stadium sets in the last year and a half, they really should expand to other sports stadiums too. Like St. Louis MLB Busch Stadium, or Dallas NFL AT&T Stadium, and stuff like that. It would be great!

Camp Nou was given to my son as a gift. He loves legos. This lego took him at least 9 hours and 30 mins to put together. The set went together very well, repetitive with good details for its size. It took overall a good and fun set to build.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow I was surprised by just how massive this thing is! A lot of pieces, but there are clear instructions on how to assemble it. I haven't finished it yet, but I think it's going to take awhile. So far it is looking pretty good and it's definitely a fun activity. Can't wait to see it all finished!

Ohhh I'm sure it's going to be a intrusive adventure ;-) I absolutely love Legos brand so I have no doubt I won't enjoy this one! Great quality as always! Beautiful colors! Very creative! Definitely would recommend others interested to give this a try!

This stadium was a very interesting build that I really enjoyed. It was a lot different to me than the build of the Old Trafford set from last year, but just as enjoyable. I can’t get over how massive it is when finished, and all of the little details that make these creator expert sets so much fun to build. Can’t wait until the next one.
