Great intro set

I guess I'm just getting into Legos as an adult (which I just learned has it's own acronym, AFoLs). I actually didn't really grow up with them as a child, so I've decided to get myself things that I would have wanted if I was still a kid! I love the Botanicals collection and have some of those on display, but weirdly THIS set got me into actually playing with Lego. My husband really encouraged me try this one out because we love the outdoors/nature and the mini-figs kind of look like us! It's just funny, too, because we have a little inside joke about living in FL and offering a "palm tree subscription service" before we knew of this set's existence. The vehicle is a good size for the price point, I think. Reminds me of one of my first cars, which was a little, old pick-up truck! Easy build. I'm now trying to collect other Friends sets to build our dream outdoor living space :)
edit: I've been trying to submit reviews for a month! Please remind us in the customer support section to disable ad-blockers (apparently). Very frustrating.

Flexible fun

When I was a little girl, I played with Lego more than dolls because I felt like I could build my own scenes and be more creative. The Friends line combines the two. It’s been really fun helping my kids put them together and watching them use what we built to make stories. Both my son and my daughter enjoy working together to create Lego orchards in unexpected ways.
I would recommend this to a friend!
