I bought the device two months ago, I have used it on every pimple that came out and it has not worked. It never diminished the inflammation, nor the redness. It is not an aid to the problem of acne. I am not happy with my purchase, it does not work
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Please note this device is suitable for: mild acne (whiteheads, blackheads and papules) and moderate inflammatory acne (inflamed, sensitive bumps filled with pus). Blemishes can be subjected to more than one 30 second routine, depending on severity. For mild acne, apply two 30 second routines. For moderate acne, 3 to 4 routines. The Espada is super easy and pleasant to use, and is a great addition to my skincare routine! I've been struggling with hormonal acne since getting off the pill about a year ago, and as soon as I feel some coming on, I target those areas, and it really does seem to prevent serious acne. I use it all over my face (not targeted) every day, and spend extra time along my jawline (where the acne tends to be). And really, it isn't that pricey when you factor in all the random acne products - I feel like I've tried everything, and, in turn, spent a fortune. Fingers crossed this keeps up the good work!

Good investment to treat occasional acne

I’ve been using it for almost a month (twice a day) everyday. It will not give you an instant result after use but after continuous use, my acne got ripe faster and not inflamed. I follow it with a Korean pimple patch to absorb the puss for best results. *I have occasional cystic acne and this product has been great so far. I’d say the price is not friendly but it is worth it. Better than using black tea bags on top of my acne and wait for 20 minutes. The espada spot treatment is only a few seconds which is great if you don’t have down time for DIY treatments.

Worth it if you put in the time

So far so good. You can save some money from buying this product on amazon like I did, and it’s eligible for prime shipping. I was a little skeptical at first to buy this product because of a lot of Sephora’s negative reviews posted, but I’m glad that it didn’t stop me. I’ve noticed results after my first use. I bought the product specifically to help with minor breakouts and acne scarring. I charged the device for a hour and a half before using as suggested in the manual. I then went over each affected section of my face 4x, 30 seconds for each interval (the device beeps indicating 30 seconds has passed). The device sends out a vibration to the skin and blue led light. You can not expect the device to work and show results if you do not put in the time. My scars look noticeably lighter in appearance and my skin has a subtle radiance. I find that it is a little hard for the device to detect that it is on skin surface, I suggest keep dabbing the product on skin until it lights up. I am excited to see the final result in a few weeks.

The most gentle teen acne solution

I bought this for my teenage son, who struggles with acne. He's been to the dermatologist and has a morning topical acne medicine and a before bed topical acne medicine, and he previously took pal antibiotics. He also has a Luna to wash and gently exfoliate. All of these helped but haven't really cleared his skin completely. As he is a swimmer, I haven't wanted him to use harsher or stronger topical medicines. I got him this and it has made a dramatic difference in only one week. His pimples are smaller and less red and he has fewer of them - all without drying his skin! Win!
