Bought the Espada a few months ago and I love it. Good for pimples under the skin, I’ve found it either reduces it completely or brings it out vs the damage I would’ve done to my skin to get to it, makes this product well worth it. My skin looks better than it has ever (paired with Luna) since the pimples are ready to pop (any bump bothers me) causing my skin to scar. I also found device was dying frequently and not working through the whole of one session but found this was due to device not being fully charged so bear this in mind.
Overall very happy with this purchase!!

Gets Rid of Acne Faster but Needs to Charge A lot

I bought this lovely device about a month ago. I've struggled with body acne for years and have tried numerous products that only made the problem worse (turns out my skin does not react well to traditional topical acne treatments).
I use this about every other day on my spots. I noticed it makes my acne heal faster and disappear in about two days. I've noticed that I do not break out as much after using this- probably because it is killing the bacteria on my skin with the blue light- and it even has helped my acne scarring.

I truly enjoy this product and the results it gives. However, I do find there are two downsides to the product. I find I have to charge mine a lot since it runs out of juice quickly. I have the Foreo Luna (which is awesome) and one charge lasts me months, but with this product I have to charge it at least every few days to keep it going- kind of tedious, but, not a huge let down I guess.
Another thing, not particulary a downside at all, but just a heads up- you have to hold the device on each spot for 30 seconds, so if you have a lot of spots this treatment may take some time to treat the area so it could end up being time consuing if you have many spots.
Overall, I truly love this product and the results- I feel so much more confident in my skin now that I've found something that works on both my acne and their scars! Thank you Foreo!!

TLDR: Speeds up acne healing process and helps get rid of acne scars but needs to charge often.

Worth the price

I think the product is very good when it is used regularly. I would recommend this product to someone who has fever breakouts on the skin. I have noticed a difference when I used this at 3x times on one pimple. I think the only minus with this product is that its very time consuming to use if you have a lot of pimples so that's why I would recommend this to someone who doesn't get so much pimples all the time.

I bought Espada a couple weeks ago and I have to say that it really does help with acne, while using the right skincare products of course, not sure about blackheads though, I guess I'll have to see if it improves with time.

Follow the light: fighting bacteria with light

i have combo skin but I ALWAYS have that occasional pimple. you know, that one that you can actually feel coming? that one. that's the moment where ESPADA kicks in. espada has a ray of blue light, that has a wavelength high enough to kill the bacteria that cause acne of the skin! it offers a super local spot treatment so every cicle corresponds to every pimple. trust and believe that 2 days of PM treatment of one pimple, it will not appear on the 3rd day. and it gives a treatment with foreo signature T-sonic pulses! i reccomend if you have those occasinal blemishes like me!

Really effective with regular use!

I have cystic pimples on my chin and forehead that won't go away. I used the Espada 3x a day consecutively and in just 3-4 days the pimples were flattened, leaving a spot without bumps. I'm guessing the blue light killed the acne causing bacteria and burned them. The dark spots can be treated by exfoliating regularly. It is great to use when you start to feel a bump and it goes away the next day without a spot.
The battery life could use some improvement because I have not charged my Luna 3 Plus since I got it about the same time as my Espada. But I charge my Espada about twice a week having to use it on average of 10 pimples each time.
