Decent Smell, Short Fuse

Another Duke Cannon blind buy. To me, the smell is decent. If you like the smells of vetiver and oakmoss, this is a great scent.
However, unlike the "Land" solid cologne, this one doesn't seem to last as long. It's great for when you first step into a party. You will get 1 hour of compliments from the older ladies and the younger ones who like a mature man. Then the compliments will end. Hopefully at that point you will have met a rich Barbara Walters type who likes getting close, because that's where the smell now resides: Close to your skin.

Nice smell. It grew on my the more I used it, as it smells a bit different on person than in the can, as most colognes do. In the can, it seemed a bit like a too strong smell you'd get from something like axe deodorant. On person, the subtleties come out and it's much more complex and less strong. I only wish the smell lasted longer.

Love the solid cologne! In my opinion, the fragrance lasts longer than than any liquid cologne I’ve tried. I love the way it smells. Honestly though, I was really hoping it would smell more like the beer and bourbon Soaps. Don’t get me wrong, it smells great, sexy and sophisticated. I just really love the sandlewood fragrance of the beer soap. All in all, for taking a gamble and ordering cologne online, that you can’t smell or don’t know what it’s going to be like, I feel like I came out a winner!

Smells great, seemed a bit lacking in quantity

I got the Vetiver and Oakmoss delivered today and I immediately fell in love with the smell. It is very refreshing and slightly musty at the same time. I really enjoy sandlewood scent and this has just enough coming trough! My one gripe is that the tin seemed far less full than the tin of the Land scent that I picked up in the Carhartt store about a month ago.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The scent is great. Couldn’t be happier about how it smells. The problem is that it honestly doesn’t last. I will usually apply it after I get out of the shower and the scent is usually gone within within an hour or two. I’m keen to try the ‘proper cologne’ and see if it lasts a little longer because this company makes outstanding scents. Just need them to keep me smelling great for longer than an episode of the Sopranos.

Honestly I love the scent and how strong it is. However, it only lasts for maybe an hour at most. I've experimented with different amounts and different placements and each time it seems within an hour I can't smell it anymore. Girlfriend has noticed the same thing. I want to love it, but I don't see the point if the scent doesn't stick.

I have 3 tins of this in different scents. They’re all good and great value. However, the distribution mechanism is highly flawed. Should be similar to the deodorant and lip balm, applied directly to the skin. Neither of those other products have to touch my fingers before application. Come on guys. A little engineering.
