French Door Flex Zone

Owned for 2.5 months. Flex-zone models are great when you have extra freezer space elsewhere (we have a full-size freezer so need for kitchen freezer space is minimal).
Positives: Refrigerator space layout excellent - it feels like we have more overall usable space than in our prior 30 cu ft competitor model. The horizontal flex-zone is an improvement over the vertical in our old fridge.
Negatives: (1) Manual does not accurately portray controls or freezer; I needed to do some creative searching to figure out how to turn off the ice-maker while going out of town and turning off water (hint: look at non-dispenser instructions for counter-depth flex-zone model). (2) Flex-zone space randomly switched to freezer mode, causing loss of multiple wine bottles and homegrown fruit (Note: I later saw in small print in manual a statement that fruits and veg should not be stored in the flex-zone space - why is that?). Frigidaire is replacing drawer, so that is a plus. Will update at 6 months to hopefully increase rating.

plenty of room for everything

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a Sub Zero refrigerator only for 30 years and this is the only refrigerator the comes close to having the same amount of space. I have had it for a month now and have been very pleased. However if you are depending on the ice maker as your sole source of ice, for a family it is inadequate. Overall very pleased.
