[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After two weeks, my ThinkPad P15 Gen 2 has exceeded my expectations. It was an easy transition and it is FAST. This machine feels rugged.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This computer is exactly what I wanted, excellent performance, incredible build quality, and fantastic components including the CPU and GPU. The screen is beautiful, crisp, and has perfect colors. The nub and trackpad are responsive and feel solid. The only thing I wish was different is the fan noise, it can be quite loud especially when pushing the machine's performance.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super fast boot up. Good battery life. The purchase itself was easy and an online associate answered all of my questions.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Its a very well built laptop, Its good that it has a built in number pad. The only thing i dislike about it so far is that the fn key is in the very bottom left of the keyboard instead of ctrl like other keyboards.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The computer is a fast performer and the Face ID for signing on is a great perk. I wish the the track pad worked a little different and didn’t allow right clicking by default. Additionally touch screen functionality would have been nice at this price.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve only had it about a week now. I love it and only took a star away because 2 different times the screen acted up and I had to restart it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was in the market for a desktop workstation. I previously used a P1 Gen 2. The P15 has more serial ports coming off of the machine and a built in ethernet port, which have been useful. The primary difference I observe is that the machine runs quieter, and cooler, under load. I attribute this to the side and and rear facing vents on the laptop, instead of only venting to my work desk. I have to use a beefier power supply, but I find the power consumption worth the additional performance for my use case.
