[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I currently own a Thinkpad Ultrabook and needed a solid business machine that got the job done day after day. Despite some initial problems, Lenovo stepped in and cut the red tape to expedite delivery of the workstation. The thought of going to another vendor or even a different class of laptop made the extra effort for the P15 Gen 2 worth it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This laptop is so fast, I was so impressed from the moment I turned on the power button. It’s like going from dial up to light speed. I really like the feel of the keyboard and the feel of the laptop itself. I upgraded and I only wish I had purchased this earlier. I absolutely love it!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Even though the P15 Gen 2 contains WINDOWS 11 PROFESSIONAL and not LINUX, it's going good so far. I have been using it for mobile consulting work and other workloads.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this machine is great, very fast, the graphics are amazing. it has a finger print scanner and facial recognition for added security. the Vpro processor is amazingly fast. i like that it has 3 usb-c ports instead of the one you find on most laptops. the usb-c ports, the lan port and the power port are all on the back edge, that helps keep your desk a little neater.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the 64G memory version and it is really great. Unlike my other laptops very quiet as well with minimal to no fan noise. This is a truly welcome upgrade.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my laptop connected to a very large monitor and use it for both financial trading and semi-professional photography. When I upgraded my T 460 to Windows 10 it became sluggish and it was time for replacement. This T5 with 32GB of RAM just blows everything away. The screen resolution is the best I've seen and the processing speed is beyond anything I've ever seen.
I've had many years as a road warrior and would not have liked to travel with the T5 except between offices, but that is fine. The keyboard and numeric pad is as good as any in the IBM days and that is a real compliment. The fan is surprisingly quiet. The speakers are good. I could not be any happier - this is a winner.
