Strong system stopped turning on at the worst time

Very powerful laptop, build/style was very clean but the laptop had a slight GPU driver issue out of the box (it was fixed with a driver update.) The speakers also would lag/glitch whenever the display was off (notifications from things while screen was resting would cause the sound to distort etc...) which was weird but did not trouble me really.
After two and a half weeks of having the laptop and using it for video editing work it stopped turning on just before traveling somewhere to work. Even with the laptop charger plugged in (also tried another ThinkPad charger from a family member), the power button would not turn on the laptop (I suspected it had to do with static or something related to the battery but I did not want to take the back off the laptop and take the battery out to discharge static since under warranty, plus I didn't think this problem would occur with how much was spent so I returned the laptop for a refund.)
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Large and No USB-C PD Trickle Charging

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ThinkPad P15 Gen 2 is a fairly bulky machine, but with the extra bulk you get quite a bit of extra capability. Only thing I'm really disliking about this system is the lack of any sort of charging with USB-C PD which I think is a major issue for anyone considering traveling with this as you wont be able to get by without the brick.
I would recommend this to a friend!

If you are dealing with an old computer and looking for something that will not lag and can keep up with your pace this is a great buy. I have yet to experience any lag when working with large file sizes. The response of this computer is great and reminds me why I keep choosing Lenovo Laptops over and over again. The full keyboard is great, as of now I have no complaints with this computer only praise. (will update this review if any problems occur.)
