[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s heavy but it barely heats up. Really good fans. The numpad took a little time to get used to—my hand kept going to the top-right for backspace. But overall a great buy.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Happy with my purchase of the Laptop. Like the screen size, it drives my 4K 2nd monitor with no problem. Keyboard has a nice feel and it is fast even while doing CAD work.
Super heavy. Filled with bloatware. Bought as a replacement for the T450s but it's so much worse.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, my Thinkpad P15 Gen 2 has lived up to my expectations with a couple of small issues to be aware of.
First, the good:
It's a solid machine that I have total confidence in. I LOVE the keyboard, and the battery life has been on par with expectations, given the workload. XRITE is great and the 4k screen is gorgeous, well-lit and easy on the eyes. I love the immense customizability of builds and aftermarket upgradeability (RAM, SSDs).
Then there's the not-so-good:
1) It gets HOT under heavy load. This isn't really a surprise but I wish the thermal design was a touch more refined to manage the heat from modern CPUs and GPUs; 2) Restricted bios access - see above. I wanted to undervolt my PC to keep temps down, but BIOS access is totally locked down, thus preventing the end user from altering stock settings. I understand why Lenovo does this, but I don't like it; 3) It's chunky and easily/quickly covered in fingerprints. This is not the end of the world and frankly, I knew what I was getting, but in a world with sleek Macbooks and Dells with similar performance, these machines just feel dated right out of the box.
With all of this said, I am happy with my purchase. I chose the Thinkpad because of build quality, specs and price, and I feel good about my purchase.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This laptop is running great. So much faster than my previous and all the ports I need. I hate switching but happy I did. My negatives are that it is a bit bulkier than my previous and the power supply uses that new slim connector (rectangle shape) so none of my old supplies work and the 'converters' are all based on a 90W so this laptop won't accept them.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lenovo is was awesome! They had extremely fast shipping, I got this laptop in three days. I haven’t had any issues is extremely fast in the price point is so much better than most other business level laptops. It also comes with all the parts I need for programming and connecting to devices in the field. I got this laptop with two times the memory of Dell for $700 cheaper
