Having given away my Thinkpad 530 to my son, I no longer had a back up in case there was a problem with my 4-year old Thinkpad 560, so I looked at the current Lenovo products for a new machine. This mobile workstation has the usual excellent Thinkpad keyboard with the navigator button, wonderful bright video for my old eyes to see, and is Windows 11 capable.
I installed Windows 11 and am quite happy with it so far, except now I have no benchmark to compare performance of the machine to the T560. So far my experience is that it's slower booting up but otherwise it seems to be more responsive with double the RAM and twice the SSD capacity.
I've lost count of the number of Thinkpads I've had, both IBM and Lenovo, but the quality has always been the best. That's why I would have no other.

Powerful, and fits my needs for engineering and gaming very comfortably (not that i game often, but it's enjoyable from time to time). I haven't used it extensively yet, but it is very comfortable and a brilliant contrast to the limited Mac systems i have used so far. I've only owned it for a few weeks, so i can't say too much, but I'm very comfortable with this purchase.
