[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The laptop is exactly like I expected. The keyboard is comfortable, and the Trackpoint reduces my wrist movement by quite a bit. I have not had any issues with work, but I have yet to do something computationally intensive. I enjoy the weightier and sturdier feel, despite the plastic construction. The matte construction is perfect in making it comfortable to use. Compared to my Y50 from before, there was surprisingly few bloatware, and the OS felt almost like a clean install.

So far it has been a great performer and has extremely good features. Paired with a dock it allows a quick and easy setup into a full desktop replacement which is extremely good for using in day to day while still being able to use it as a mobile workstation. It runs VMs great and so far has managed everything I have been able to throw at it with ease. The inclusion of dual thunderbolt four is amazing as it allows me to have one for attaching external PCIE devices such as storage or an external GPU, and the other to dock with no noticeable downsides.

It’s main use is working with large assemblies (1000 parts) in SolidWorks and it does great! I’ve worked in Aerospace and Engineering my entire life and never worked on a computer, of any sort, as good as the Lenovo P15. I’m a Lenovo user for life.
