I am giving it 4 stars only because this is a gift and it has not been given yet. It is very sleek and trim. We hadn't wanted the white, but now are liking it very much. Just a very nice looking computer. Graphics are superb. Runs well and is fast. Agent helped us; had we not spoken with him, we would have purchased a computer that was a touchscreen. It has been a very good experience.
This computer is nearly the same as the computer I am replacing. My old computer could not support Windows 11 and after I received an email from Microsoft that they would not be supporting Windows 10 any more with fixes or upgrades, I decided to get the new computer.
I presently have experience with 5 HP AIO Desktops. 3 of the 5 have had issues. 1 had to be replaced after it was repaired once, but finally died. 2 have be running okay for about a year now. 4 of the 5 were purchased by family and friends for whom I performed the initial set up and am their first call when they have a problem. I liked the looks of these AIO PC's and appreciated the convenience so I purchased one for myself about a month ago and have had it about 3 weeks. Last week, the "H" key on the HP 710 Wireless KB stopped working. Every time I needed to type an H, I used the on-screen keyboard, then yesterday it magically started working again. The only other issue I noticed the first time I booted up the computer. The cooling fan sounded like a 4-cylinder engine with a rod knocking. It was quite loud, but had gotten quieter over the last three weeks. Then about 15 minutes ago, the BSOD popped up announcing that the cooling fan was not running properly and shut down the computer. That was enough incentive to finally write this review after HP sent 3 requests to do so. I purchase this computer from the HP Store. I should finally mention that I have had many HP Laptops myself and have helped many family and friends with HP laptops. As far as I know, all are still running or could run after being replaced by newer models.
Great computer. I have two issues. First with customer support before I purchased the computer. I asked if the height dimension listed on the HP site was with the camera out or in. I was told it was with the camera out. The height dimension was critical to my installation. I was told it was with the camera out which was incorrect. This almost resulted in me returning the product.
The only other issue is with a very noisy fan. The fan changes speed based on temperature. When it runs on high speed (which is often) it is extremely noisy.
