I had an earlier version of the Envy which was 28" but since February when HP's Smart Friend service absolutely destroyed the computer and nothing we did could bring it back to life so... I bought this and am I ever happy. It is a fabulous display with so many types of connections that were lacking in the earlier version. I was hesitant about Widows 11 but it works better than 10 and is easy to figure out. The screen is adjustable up and down plus it tilts. The moveable camera is just great for zoom which on the earlier version was useless. Finally, the power cord is even better than the Apple with everything in the unit with the screen. It weighs 24 pounds which makes it so easy to move around, particularly when setting it usp.
I replaced my 27” Apple iMac with this HP All-in-One. This HP is hands down the better AIO computer. The screen is amazing, it’s fast, runs quietly, and is simply a beautiful computer. And the wireless charging base charges my phone quickly! I highly recommend this computer over Apple’s latest iMac.
This is an amazing computer! It is extremely fast and I am so pleased that I selected this one from all the available choices. The large screen lets me split it into two different sections with subjects that are related so no more switching back and forth.
I really love this computer. I was upgrading from a 24 all in one that I also liked but did not have sufficient memory to handle the newest photoshop. This computer is fast, the display is crisp, and it handles graphic programs! I set the computer up with little trouble, got the camera working and got it right to work. The size of the screen does require you to adjust text size but that is more a function of my old eyes. The computer shipped well. I paid for faster shipping, and it was at my door virtually the next day. I use a hub and external hard drives they are handled.
Amazing computer. I've never bought an all-in-one because I don't want to be locked into a non-upgradable CPU unit, but this has changed my mind.
Love that it supports Thunderbolt. Easy to upgrade memory (make sure to get exactly same Samsung modules that it ships with 2x8, 8GB modules) and NVME M.2 SSD.
Very slick, polished unit with many things all thought out like having wireless charging of your phone built in.
Only small gripe is that the internal USB port that holds the keyboard/mouse wireless transponder cannot be accessed from the backplate (needs the entire PC to be opened up, which is not easy). So to use a different keyboard/mouse, you will need to use up one of the USB-A ports on the back. Luckily there are a lot of USB ports.
The included webcam is also pretty awesome, and supports IR for Windows Hello login.
Machine is aesthetically pleasing, and things work nicely out of the box. We have had a CPU fan warning several times for longer or more intensive sessions, and the graphics card is powerful for the first few minutes before thermal throttling sets in and performance drops to something pretty abysmal.
Great. But wish there were volume buttons on the monitor. Having to use Ctrl-F2, Ctrl-F3, or the Windows task bar to change system volume is inconvenient.
The esthetics are beautiful with a minimalist design. It's not all looks though, the RAM speed is pretty good. The keyboard and Webcam are worth mention too.
